The Spot of Online Business Tutorial

Increasing Clickbank Revenue with Adwords

There are many tools on the Internet to make money, but by far the two most popular and effective (and luckily the easiest) are Clickbank and Google AdWords. Together, these tools can be incredibly useful for anyone that wants to set up simple, easy to use websites and sell products that they don’t have to stock or create. It’s been working for the better part of the last decade and will continue to work as long as enterprising online entrepreneurs make it work.

How do these two services coincide though that so many people have been able to make money off of them? First off, you need to start with the products on Clickbank. Each product on the site has been created by someone, is hosted on their site and can be downloaded directly from them. Yet, in many cases you can make anywhere between 25-75% of the total selling cost of that product if you promote it as an affiliate.
Next up, you have Google AdWords, which allows anyone to create ads that link directly to any website by matching up keywords from user searches to your ads and paying per click. When you combine the two, you have multiple methods you can use to start making money.

The first method is to simply create an ad and use your hoplink as the target link in AdWords. Unfortunately, there have been some issues with this in the past. Google does not often like to work with forwarding links so you cannot create a domain and have it forward directly to the product you are promoting. So, you will either need to create a content page that can then forward to the page you are promoting or you need to just allow people to see your hoplink (which does not convert to a very high CPC).

The other method is to create a page with a full list of products and content (either reviews or related information) and then have an ad through AdWords point directly to that site. When users visit that site, they can then click on the products there and be taken to affiliate products you are promoting where you’ll get your commission for the promotion. It takes a bit more work but you don’t run the risk of getting your Ads removed by Google or of having your quality scores sink rapidly.

However you decide to do it though, there is a huge amount of profit to be made by combining Google AdWords with Clickbank. When you craft a campaign carefully enough, you will often find that the two work seamlessly together, with profit margins being anywhere between 40% and 1000% depending on what you are selling and how well your Ads convert when you get clicks.

You’ll need to make sure to follow the rules Google sets, choose high converting (preferably expensive) products form Clickbank and constantly split test to be sure everything works as well as it possibly can.
